Social Media in the Newsroom workshop at ICWSM-16
PHEME is co-organising a workshop on ‘Social Media in the Newsroom’, co-located with ICWSM-16, and will take place on May 17, 2016 in Cologne, Germany. The workshop aims to focus on the intersection of social media and journalism, as a subset of Computational and Data Journalism. It will particularly focus on the development of novel algorithms, methods, and tools, and to further understand and to make the most of social media content for the purposes of news and media industries and journalism practitioners.
The Call for Papers is now out. Papers are due on February 27!
